Both sedan and Si coupe get their 201 horsepower and 170 pounds feet of torque from a 2.4-liter engine. The engine is matted with transmission options, a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission.
While the hybrids get a 1.5-liter four and Honda’s integrated motor-assist system (with a lithium-ion battery in place of nickel-metal hydride battery), developing 110 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque.
In conclusion, for 2012, Honda will offer the Civic HF, a value/fuel-economy leader which is on sale now.
